Sony Ericsson W580i goes live on Rogers
Rogers Wireless has rolled out the lovely W580i slider from Sony Ericsson, a Walkman-branded piece first introduced late in the first quarter of the year. Though data tops out at EDGE speeds (this is Sony Ericsson, after all), the handset offers an integrated FM radio, 2 megapixel cam, A2DP support, pedometer, and Memory Stick Micro expansion. Grab it now for $150 Canadian (about $142) on a three-year contract.

Damn sneaky Canadians! When are we going to see AT&T picking up this phone (and the S500i)?!

Expect to see this item by the end of the month on AT&T.

probably won't see the S500 on AT&T, but W580 should be there soon

rogers pricing makes absolutely no sense! the w810i is a far better phone which comes with a free 4gb memory card and quad band edge. yet it is 60 dollars cheaper on the contract.

OK next question is, will AT&T be offering the black one, or just the grey and white? And if not, who IS offering the black one? Not Sony Ericsson's website, I can tell you that!

Cellular One has it.

Did you think to check the Rogers website by clicking on the image of the phone itself?
No, of course not. That would be the smart and easy thing to do!
